About Us

The Clinic

The clinic is situated just north of the M25 at Waltham Abbey. It is a modern, purpose built physiotherapy clinic consisting of 2 individual treatment suites and a rehabilitation area.An outside shot of our clinic

We aim to provide a prompt, high quality service in a friendly and comfortable environment. We can offer individual consultations for various conditions as well as group sessions where appropriate. Private treatment through Lea Valley Physio enables you to arrange an appointment at a time to suit you and without having to wait. No referral is usually necessary.

What to Expect
A treatment station at our state of the art clinic

On your first visit you will be assessed by an experienced physiotherapist to determine appropriate treatment for your condition. By the end of this consultation you and your therapist will have agreed a tailor-made course of action / treatment plan to facilitate your speedy recovery.

If, at the end of your consultation it is felt that we cannot help you, we will advise you on which relevant clinician may be able to help.

Who You Will See

Sandy Culpitt

Sandy trained at the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy, qualifying with a Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1984.

Since then until 2006 she worked in the NHS, mainly in the outpatient departments, in Enfield, Harlow, Welwyn Garden City and Hertford. Over the years she has taken a special interest in sports injuries, orthopaedics and hand injuries but has extensive experience with all the conditions referred to us.

Sandy is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (the UK’s governing body) and the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Sandy is a keen sports person with a passion for skiing.

Suzanne Taylor

Suzanne is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (the UK’s governing body) and the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Phooi-Yin Turner

Phooi-yin qualified as a nurse but gave it up when she had a family. After a spell in the city she returned to the health sector working in the departments of NHS Physiotherapy & Podiatry.

Her experience gained had stood her in good stead for her position as Practice Manager at LVP.
